The last day of 2010 is finally passed. There was a lot of events occured in KML, too.

We've begun to contact foreign mahjong communities since 2009, and finally have achieved to settle internet homepage serving 3 languages in March 5 2010. By serving the homepage, more communications we could obtain from world mahjong hobbists, and we are still expanding the communty spaces. The homepage will be a step to gain capcities for helding and participating in coming international competitions.

In Oct 3 2010, we held for the first time an international mahjong competition. For the competition, many Japanese, European, American people sincerely helped us to have a fine event. With 3 Japanese professionals included, there were 7 Japanese, 1 Swedish, and 24 Korean players participated in the game. The competition was introduced by mahjong journals of Europe and Japan as well.

In homepage, we are trying to strengthen the contents by giving mahjong lesson columns, translating mahjong strategy books, and serving news of mahjong informations and issues. And also we are working to expand the mahjong space and culture by serving the "scoring system" to several mahjong clubs in Korea.

We are still working hard to have a good partnership with in-Korea mahjong clubs, and to settle the community for both Korean and foreigner by helding international competitions, etc. For now, at January 2011, we have a plan to held "Club championship" for the clubs all around Korea. In October, there will be a KRMC international competition. Also, we are in good talks for having "Korea-Japan Online competition" someday in 2011. And for the rich contents, we are struggling to solve copyright issues to introduce mahjong strategy books and manuals from Japan to everyone.
